Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CopyQR, a B2B software platform for photocopy and print shops in India. By registering a shop, using the dashboard, or uploading a document through a shop’s QR code, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• “Platform” means the CopyQR software and services.
• “Shop Owner” means a business that subscribes to CopyQR.
• “Customer” means a person who uploads a document through a shop’s upload page.
• “Subscription” means a paid monthly or annual plan.

2. Eligibility and account

• Shop Owners must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account may be used for one shop unless otherwise agreed.

3. The service

CopyQR provides a QR-based workflow: a shop displays a QR code that routes customers to that shop’s upload page; the customer uploads documents and chooses print settings; the shop downloads and prints them. A QR code is only a routing mechanism, not an authentication mechanism, and grants no access to any dashboard.

Uploading a document does not mean printing has started. Printing is performed by the shop, and the shop is responsible for print quality, paper, timing, and collection.

4. Shop Owner responsibilities

• Use the platform only for lawful printing services.
• Configure retention settings within platform limits and inform your customers of your privacy notice.
• Access only your own shop’s orders and documents.
• Not upload or request printing of content that is unlawful, infringing, obscene, or harmful.
• Comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law in your role as data fiduciary for your customers’ documents.

5. Customer responsibilities

• Upload only documents you have the right to share and print.
• Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.
• Understand the retention window shown at upload, including that deletion from encrypted backups is delayed and limited.

6. Subscriptions, fees, and renewals

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Razorpay.
• Where auto-payment / recurring mandates are enabled, charges recur automatically until you cancel.
• Prices, plan features, and limits are set centrally in the platform and may change on notice.
• Applicable taxes (including GST) apply. .

7. Fair usage and service levels

Plans are subject to fair-usage limits (for example, monthly order volumes or storage). We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available service. The platform is provided on an “as available” basis without a service-level commitment unless a separate written SLA is agreed. We may need to perform maintenance or impose rate limits to protect the platform.

8. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Intellectual property

We (or our licensors) own the platform, its software, and its branding. You retain ownership of the documents you upload. You grant CopyQR and the relevant shop a limited licence to store, transmit, and process a document only as needed to provide the printing service, subject to the retention policy.

10. Suspension and termination

• We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, unlawful use, or security risk.
• You may cancel your subscription as described in the Subscription Terms.
• On termination, your account access changes, but data retention and deletion continue to follow the retention policy and any legal retention obligations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CopyQR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for losses arising from a document’s content, print quality depending on the customer’s source file, or a shop’s own conduct. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the fees paid by the Shop Owner in the preceding period:Limited to fees paid in preceding 12 months .

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CopyQR against claims arising from your use of the platform, the documents you upload or request to be printed, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts atMadhya Pradesh .

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified to Shop Owners and the “last updated” date will change.
